Language exams in Heidelberg: From TOEFL® to TestDaF®
Our extensive course programme for exam preparation is completed by the examination centre. The F+U Academy of Languages is a recognised examination centre for the world's most important language examinations for German and English.
Language exams for German
TestDaF
A TestDaF certificate opens the door to a university career in Germany. The Academy of Languages is the largest TestDaF examination centre in Germany.
TELC
Telc certificates are internationally recognised and are offered at all language levels. The Academy of Languages has been a licensed telc examination centre since 2012 and is also a competence centre for telc C1 Hochschule
WiDaF
The WiDaF test is ideal for demonstrating language competence in a professional environment and is aimed at professionals and students.
TestAS (German or English)
The TestAS exam measures the ability to study and is largely similar to an intelligence test. Cognitive and intellectual abilities are tested. Participants receive information about their personal academic aptitude.
ECL
With an ECL certificate, you show that you are able to express yourself in various everyday situations on professional and personal topics, both verbally and in writing.

Language tests for English
IELTS
IELTS stands for "International English Language Testing System" and was developed by the British Council. It is the world's most popular English test if you want to work, study or live abroad.
onSET
onSET tests language competence in German or English. This test checks your current level of proficiency in the foreign language and is a means of self-assessment and placement in language courses.
